Our goal is for potential buyers to see their own lifestyles in our designs, and form an emotional connection to the property as soon as they walk through the door. Our stagers take into account the proportions and character of each room as they select items from our extensive inventory of stylish modern and vintage pieces to create a unique design for every space.

We pride ourselves on being logistics mavens. Once you hire us, consider the job handled. We come from a project management background, so we are ready to coordinate any and all vendors that are needed to get your house on the market. We can do full or partial stagings, and we don’t bat an eye at designing homes that will be occupied while staged. We also use our organizing, decluttering, and styling expertise to help ready estates for sale. Simply put, there’s not much we can’t do for you. That is the Urban Staging difference.

As an outgrowth of an award-winning home-organizing business that specializes in move management, we have more than a decade of experience working with clients and realtors to get homes on (and, more importantly, off) the market.

WHO WE ARE

Amanda Wiss

FOUNDER & CEO
Amanda launched Urban Clarity, a professional home organizing and move management company, in 2007. Since, Amanda has grown Urban Clarity to a dynamic team of empathetic and effective organizers that was featured in NY Magazine’s Best of 2023. She founded Urban Staging in 2018 with a small but mighty team that has helped dozens of real estate professionals close multi-million dollar deals. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two children.
Kristen Couse

OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
Kristen Couse has worn many hats over the years: book editor, textile artist, shop owner, fundraising coordinator, professional organizer. She enjoys making things beautiful and functional—including her home in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Kristen heads up our back office, so you’ll work closely with her to plan and implement your home staging. Kristen and her husband are the proud parents of one teenage son and three cats, and she tries to squeeze in as much reading, drawing, sewing, and Mets-baseball-watching as possible.
Gabrielle Hamill

CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Gabrielle Hamill leads our design team. A veteran of the fashion industry, she has a well-trained eye for design and an uncanny ability to look around a room and instantly imagine how to edit it down and build it back up. Residing now in Park Slope, Brooklyn with her husband and teenage son, Gabrielle previously lived and worked in Europe and Morocco and continues to enjoy traveling with her family.

Taylor Deltz

SENIOR DESIGNER
Taylor Deltz is a graduate of Bard College, where she studied Studio Arts and Opera. Taylor started as a professional organizer with Urban Clarity, but her passion for art and design kept pulling her towards the staging world. She is our go-to teammate for anything power tool related, and is a successful painter in her own right. Taylor and her husband are now falling in love with their new Park Slope home.

Zoe Shepard

DESIGN ASSOCIATE & INVENTORY MANAGER
Zoe Shepard is a Richmond, VA transplant now based in Bushwick. Zoe began as a master mess-tamer, serving as our warehouse’s Inventory Manager. She joined the design team onsite earlier this year, and is responsible for coordinating our movers and destaging team. Zoe loves fashion, thrifting, and camping with her friends.
